As you've most probably heard by now, from September 2015 there will only be the A2 exams, and AS wont contribute anything for the GCE A level quals. My question is, will this affect those of us starting our A levels now or is this only for people who starts their A levels after September 2015? Will we be able to complete our courses normally?
The changes are for first teaching from September 2015 meaning the first exams (AS) will be taken by students in 2016 and the first A2 will be taken in 2017.

September 2014 will be the final year for starting the old style AS course. September 2015 is the final year for starting the old style A2 course.

Have a look at this table which summarises the changes.

PS. The only thing you can be certain of in life is that everything changes. Don't be afraid of it, embrace it! Anything else is wasted energy.
