No. If you use pay as you go (off peak), the only discount that would apply is the 16-25 railcard.

The 18+ student oyster discount applies to travelcards (which are like season tickets - the opposite of pay as you go). It does not apply to pay as you go.

So you either buy a travel card in advance, and then your journeys are covered, or you use pay as you go for each journey that you make.
