why does everyone hate on heavy metal :))))

Not a fan of normal metal. Just don't like the music. Nothing to do with any stereotypes. And in any case, you guys are treated a lot better than people who like alternative metal, post hardcore, screamo or punk-rock.

**** 'scream metal' it ruined the genre because that's all what people who don't know about metal associate it with.

Used to listen to wasted years all the time, I have the guitar track, which is amazing.

A lot of metal is **** such as slipknot and black veil brides, and fits the stereotype of catering towards autistic people.

And yes, EVERYONE still associates metal with bands like slipknot, which is why the genre is ridiculed so much.

That said, the only time you hear clean vocals in metal anymore is in short sections of the songs.

Certain types of metal do actually remind me of classical music. :biggrin:

Randy Rhoads (R.I.P) was a classical musician who played heavy metal, he wanted to get a degree in classical guitar at UCLA before he was killed.

He has a very unique classicaly influenced style.

I'm going to come at this from a slightly different angle.

I don't particularly like 'Heavy Metal' as a rule. I don't particularly like Iron Maiden, Pantera are hit and miss, A7X are boring, in general, most of it just bores me.

However, give some savage Tech. Death Metal and I'm yours. Literally everything about Tech. Death is just better. How someone can not like bands like TBDM is truly beyond me.
