I don't constantly listen to heavy metal. There are some moments though when I feel so mad that I'd rather listen to somebody else scream some good s*it in my years than have to yell myself.
Edit: And the riffs. Sometimes the riffs bring all the magic

Metal does seem to get a lot of hate. The heavy stuff I can understand, but stuff like Iron Maiden should never be hated upon.

Ah yes, I'm aware. I'm just saying that depending on my mood I'd listen to different genres/sub genres, and some tempered songs tend to be a good chill pill for me. Let it be more dynamic or a ballad, what's important to me is that a good tune can take my mind off some thoughts for a while ^_^.

I've been actually looking to discover some new artists to listen to, since I have this bad habit of listening to a song/album that I like for so long that it becomes dull at some point.

well yeah, some metal just sounds straight up retarded with the cookie monster vocals and demonic lyrics.

i like the instrumental on this track, but hate the lyrics and vocals because they are stupid
