GCSE Results Question

Hello all on the 21st of august I received my GCSE results thankfully they were all good and were the results that I wanted however on the results slip i became a bit confused basically under my English it said:

English cash in (linear) (Grade) (Points)

This is what it said at the top of the slip, but at the bottom is said this...

English cash in (unitised)

What does this mean exactly? 'unitised' ? my guess is that its something to do with when I took it in year 10, i'm very confused as to which is my FINAL grade.

Your final grade comes under the column 'Grd 1' - where the 'Grade' that you've mentioned is.

I believe that 'unitised' means that you did the exam modularly - such as Unit 1 in January and maybe Unit 2 in June/resat a unit?

It doesn't matter anyway - you've got your grade
