Hi there,
Basically, I want to do something in relation to science, most likely a dentistry or medical degree at uni in 2 years time.
Currently, I've chosen to do:
Maths
Chemistry
Biology
English Lit
I was wondering if I should drop Lit for something like physics. I only wanted to do English as it was a strong-suit of mine (I thought I'd get an A* at GCSE) but now that I've only got an A in it, I may as well drop it for something more relevant to the aspirational degree, right?
The argument against doing this is that English Lit among the other science based subjects shows diversity and is well regarded by unis.
Alternatives to something like physics could be Psychology (this links well with medicine and care), Philosophy or History (I got an A* in history at GCSE).
Thanks a lot!
