MMU Cheshire Campus, info on visitors

Hi I will be attending Manchester Metropolitan University this September and I was wondering what the rules on guests staying over were.
For example, if needed could a friend stay with me in my room on the first day of freshers week (20th of September) or would that not be possible? If not, when can they begin to stay?

I think you can invite a friend over but you have to check in first, I mean you have to inform that they are there.Not sure tho.Good luck.

Yeah, they can stay, you are suppose to check them in at reception. They give you a limited amount of days per month where guests can stay, but it's rarely enforced.
