Hey just thought id start this thread cos there seems to be lots of u starting queens this yr so thought this could be a starting point to get to know one another seeing as we might bump into one another wen at uni! who knows we may even be living beside each other!

Well my name is Emma, im 18 from Fermanagh in N.I. and am starting queens and studying Computing and Information Technology

Im going to be living in the Elms Village - in Chestnut Crescent

I'm heading into 1st year for MSci Chemistry. Has anyone heard or read anything about fresher's events next week? Neither the Fresher's Pack nor www.qub.ac.uk/freshers appear to yield any useful information whatsoever.

EDIT: I tell a lie. The website has made several impressive leaps in usefulness since last I looked.
