AS maths-are the marks combined?

Hi,
Does anyone doing AS maths know if the marks for pure maths and the statistics paper get combined for the cie exams and how are they totalled. I know that I'm sitting two different papers(obviously), but suppose you get 50% in one of them, and 80 in the other. Are they awarded separately or combined? Please help..it's killing me because i'm not at school atm and can't ask any of my friends!

Yes, they're combined. They're both worth 50%.
