^ This explains it really well. It's a very common term in the BDSM/kink world... so no, it's not 'weird', though obviously that depends on you and how you feel.

Well this makes sense. So essentially he's just looking to be sexually dominant then?I suppose it kind of makes me feel better since I've been worrying this might be incest-related. He hasn't really shown any signs of wanting to take on a dominant role prior to this so yeah....I do wonder why he wouldn't explain it himself though cause this doesn't sound so bad

Yes, if you have watched or read any pornographic material ever you will doubtless have come across "daddy" and it is primarily used as an expression of submission. Though doubtless the taboo over incest helps it along.
