Why does Tesco pay so much better than ASDA and Sainsbury's?
Hello all,
I work at Sainsbury's and I recieve 6.71 an hour for day shifts and 8.26 for night shifts. I also recieve an extra 2.55 an hour on bank holidays but get no extra money for overtime or sunday's.
My friend at Tesco does exactly the same job as me and gets 7.32 an hour for dayshifts, time and a half for night and time and half on sunday!!!!!!!!! That means on a Sunday or night she nets over 11 an hour! Also she said she used to get extra for overtime too!
Why does Tesco pay so much better? and how can they afford to do so when they are having all these profit warnings?
