Help!

Hi,

I got rejected from my firm, I presumed that it was because I didn't achieve the required grades. However, I know someone who got the exact same grades in the same 3 a levels that I took and she got in to the same university and course that I chose as my firm.

Is there a mistake?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

well maybe they had one space left they were willing to give someone with below the grade requirements (or even more than one space), but you were slightly worse than the other candidate(s) so they chose them and not you.

Maybe she had a better personal statement or interview than you....

The quality of your personal statement or academic reference could well be the difference between acceptance or rejection in that situation.

I doubt there's been a mistake but you could always call the uni to check - you have nothing to lose.
