A-Level History Coursework

I'm going into A2 when I go back to college in september. For A2 History, we have to do coursework. I've decided to do mine on the Black Death but I don't know where to begin!

The exam board is OCR. The emphasis of the coursework is 'historical significance', i.e. I have to research the significance of the black death. I really don't know how to get started, what to look for or whatever.

Any advice from people who have done A-Level History (Especially if it is OCR) and got a good grade in their coursework would be appreciated!
