[Survey Request] Does Personality Type Affect Choices at A-level?

Hi everyone

I'm currently working on a maths investigation for school, and in it I hope to be able to explore the relationship between the MBTI and subject choices using statistics.

I would be grateful if you could give up a few minutes of your time to participate in my survey, because I'd like to obtain as big a sample size as I can get. If you’d like to participate, all you need to do is take this personality test really quickly here:
http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html

This takes about a minute at most. Scroll down to find the test, read the descriptions and choose the ones that fit you the best. It should then tell you four letters at the end - these letters are your personality type. Please write it down along with your subject choices for AS and A2 in the replies.

Thanks so much for your time

Note: If you’d like a more in-depth test, this one has about 60-odd questions, and is a much more accurate indicator of your type. Also, the analysis of your personality it gives at the end is nothing short of mind-blowing. http://www.16personalities.com/

I would point out that the Myers Briggs is thought of by many psychologists as bollox. It creates binary categories where most of these traits are empirically normally distributed. It also shows limited agreement with other personality measures, and the final descriptions come across like a psychic's reading.

I would recommend the 5 factor model: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Five_personality_traits instead.

Of course, this may be too late for you, and if you are just using this as an excuse to practice some stats that's OK. But some things to think about when you write up.
