Applying and getting into university with low grades

Hi,
I am currently starting A2 English literature, Philosophy and Spanish. In my exams for AS I got A in Spanish and two EE's for English Lit and Philosophy. I study long distance and am self taught, I have tutors who mark my assignments but they don't really help me much. I am really upset with this grade as I have worked my hardest but feel that it is the lack of guidance that is putting me down, I want to study Law in the UK, hopefully at Keele or Oxford Brookes and their entry requirements are ABB. I will retake my exams but I still don't think I will do as well as ABB, maybe ACD or ADE.

What are my chances of getting into university if my personal statement is good and I show that I have passion for what I want to learn? Also, are any of these universities leniant towards grades?

Thank you
