What's the worst rumour that's been spread about you?

This one girl (the most popular in the year) spread a rumour that I'd killed her dad.

Not only was her dad still alive, I didn't know him at all. The worst thing was that everybody believed it.

In my secondary school life, it was being gay, like ffs they knew i was a christian. Perhaps because i hanged out with weaker people

My friends spread a rumour that I put by testicles in a microwave while high at a party, nobody genuinely believed it but it spread around my sixth form pretty quickly.
That I made Gossip Girl. My classmates believed it and congratulated me on it, until I told them I didn't create the show. The attention was unwanted :colonhash:

When I was 14 some guy went around telling people he had a three way kiss with one of my friends and I behind a local shop and that he fingered me and my mate gave him a ****. Neither of us had even spoken to him since we left primary school and this was 3 years before I even had my first kiss.

In year 2, I sucked my thumb. A girl decided to tell everyone that someone else had wiped their bogey on my thumb without me knowing and I had eaten it. All the kids ran away from me and wouldn't play with me for what was the worst week of my life.

A girl in year 9 spread round her year that she had sex with me.. I've never noticed or talked to that girl in my life so it was just plain awkward.. The most awkward part was that the teachers even heard the rumor and questioned me because I was 16 when the rumor was spread :mad:
A rumour went round that I was bisexual (and while this is true I hadn't really come out, I only told two of my closest 'friends') it wasn't the actual rumour that was a pain, it was the way people treated me after. :dry:
Though I kind of did, but I was joking around, he took it seriously and told everyone.

Then everyone thought I asked this guy (im a guy as well) for sex in a serious way.

This was back in Year 7.
When I was in year 7 or 8 (can't remember which) it was spread that I was gay just because I had never kissed a girl (which si completely normal at that age!). I was also shy and quiet and never really talked to people much, never mind girls. For some reason this meant I was gay. I used to hang around with some real idiots.

that prom was cancelled because of me :erm:

basically there were loads of groups on Facebook moaning about school rules- I supposedly told the school about it and prom was supposedly cancelled to which I received threats of being beaten up and the like.

Had to tell the school in the end and funnily enough prom wasn't cancelled :rolleyes:

I had a lovely year group :unimpressed:
That i had sex with a teacher o_O I wasn't too bothered until the actual teacher, head teacher and later on..my parents got involved :frown:
Similar story to Libbybaloo except that people thought I was a lesbian (which is partially true). Luckily, I left my old school so I don't have to hear it again! Also some of my 'friends' actually believed the rumour and basically started saying rude things behind my back. Well, at least I know my true friends :smile:

EDIT: The guy who was spreading the rumours also tried to turn my other friends against me, but instead they supported me :smile:
