It seems that there is no way we can get our MAT Marks, right ? Or is there anyone has a way to do this ?

We very deliberately don't tell people their MAT mark pre-interview.

You can, if you really want, request them in January. Details of how to do this are here: http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/applying-to-oxford/decisions/feedback

If imperial give out an offer in December, are they at liberty to tell us our mark then? Or must they wait until January?

That's a very good question. I don't know.

I'm afraid I don't know, but I would guess that you'll need to wait until late January - in particular, remember that many Imperial applicants don't apply by the 15th October and instead apply by the 15th January deadline. Some of these applicants also sit the MAT. As such, Imperial will still be processing applications during this entire period.

Heya, I was wondering whether you personally have any recommendations on books that could help me prepare for my interview?

Is there any chance to receive the decision during the weekend?

Depends on the college. Magdalen sent out earlier this week
If earlier this week means somewhere between Monday and Friday, I am not surprised. I am just curious if there is any possibility to receive anything today or tomorrow. This waiting period is killing me!

I doubt they do since it isn't working hours. Can't be sure though

Hi. I suggest you have a look at the guidance here: http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/ugadmissions/how_to_apply/interviews.html

Sitting with an adult you don't know very well (who isn't a science specialist) and explaining to them Maths/Physics things you've done in class can be helpful. Use a whiteboard, or a pen and paper. That way you'll get used to explaining technical concepts out loud - exactly what you'll be doing in the interview.

....

I had a look at the link and was immediately (I like to read the end of the book first) hit with this statement:
"All of the interviews happen over a couple of day period."
Note to CS applicants
GCSE English not required.

Sorry Hopeful, not quite sure I understand your comment. Could you re-phrase?

I guess he/she is saying that there's a grammatical error in that phrase. IMO, it should be "a couple of days' period". My English is not very good, though... And I am using 'period' analogously with 'time'.
