Get a degree and kick off my career. Making friends and getting away from family are bonuses

None of that. I am only going to university so I live in a Tory constituency rather than a Labour one
1) Make new friends

2) Get Laid

3) Get a good degree

4) Move away from family

5) Find your Soul mate

6) be Independent

3 - Dad is paying a lot, so I need to make it worthwhile
1 - I'm lonely, I want new friends
6 - I've been looking forward to it
5 - Hopefully
4 - Not neccessarily
2 - Seems silly for that to be the main reason to go university, but it's a nice bonus as other have said.

I'm fine not even having any of the other options but 6 is my biggest priority.
