Reoccurring headaches

Had a headache every day since Friday, if not straight after waking up within an hour or two of doing so. It's particularly painful just above my left eye and causes my eye to water quite badly. I'm not sure if this is linked but I've also had a nasty cough and a blocked nose for a few weeks and I've booked a doctors appointment, I was just wondering if anyone had any idea about any possible causes.

Could be a problem with a sinus! http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Sinusitis/Pages/Introduction.aspx

My mum has a problem with one of her sinuses, and that affects her eye; it mostly goes a bit puffy and watery too.

Hope your doctor manages to sort you out
Be glad your headaches aren't as bad as this.

MASSIVE TRIGGER WARNING (even I was was triggered and I hate triggers)

Are you hydrated enough? Try drinking two or more litres in a day.
It's recurring, not reocurring.

No chance of a shag there then...

Serioulsy though and hears a heads up,, if you ever get a persistant headache that is so intense that it is the worst ever and it doesnt go with paracetamol and definitely if it is accompanied by a nose bleed..go to A&E immediately as these are classic signs of sub arachnoid haemorrhage

Agreed. This was the response my GP gave m. Clearly ignoring the diagnosis I'd just been given.

And are you eating enough?

Yeah I eat more than enough and I've started drinking more water. My GP said it wasn't anything serious, cluster headaches is a possibility but she couldn't diagnose it as that after only one cluster.
