Me too.

I'm not sure I'd go as far as mature, but I'm 30 the day after it starts, so I'm at least getting older

I am getting really nervous/excited about this course, can't believe we are now only weeks away from starting. I think I can classify myself as a mature student (36) booooooo. If anyone would be interested in keeping in touch via PM please do. <email removed by mod>.

Good Luck everyone. xx

Yeah i'm starting. I'm 24, so more mature than some aha.

Just got a printout of the online sessions in the post. Raed though it all today; some interesting stuff in there.

Everyone else doing this as part of an open degree or just law?
Hi there! Is anyone starting their studies in February 2015?
I have spoken with the Open University and will be doing my study full-time from home.
Anyone else in the same boat?

I started the Law degree with the OU but changed my choice.
It would be good to meet other W101 students studying at The Open University.

Team leader/ organiser required. Any volunteers ??

Some people just about to start but would be good to have members who have been there and done it to let us know what we have let ourselves in for! Lol

Trust me, W101 was easy peasy lemon squeezy. I passed every TMA and EMA comfortably. Was doing it part time. In terms of hours per week, I was putting in around 5 - 7 hrs a week.
I heard a few students got done for plagiarism. So if you decide to cheat, take extra care lol 😆😆

Best advice you're gonna get in this decade.

I'm starting W101 this October too  excited but nervous! Think I qualify as a mature student at 21

Glad the module website opened today, hope I get the printed versions soon though.

Would be useful to get in touch with those on the same module.

Good luck everyone!
