Anyone heard anything from Oxford yet?? Xxxx

Nope. I'm not expecting anything for a week though. MatSci don't hold interviews till the 17th of December, quite a while away, which would indicate the PAT takes a little longer to mark, analyse and scrutinise.

Condolences man, on the bright side, Imperial is a mighty time establishment, I really fell in love with it when I went to visit, and if you're a foodie that's into science, it trumps Oxford  Best of luck!

I've been told that the decisions will be sent to us in early December. I can't wait that long! *shreds nails in teeth*
I'm also waiting for Imperial, my second choice. Aside from that, two offers and an interview, baby!
There's a chance that Oxford or Imperial may interview me on my birthday, according to the info I've seen online. Most stressful birthday ever(?)

As I said, I've been told that the decisions will be sent to us in early December. As for what day of the week, no clue.

Wadham's a fine college, indeed. Magdalen, anyone?

You aren't alone. St. Hugh for me as well.

I am curious though, a question for everyone:

What do you hope to do with a degree in physics?

If I went into applications, I would hope to make advances with quantum computing or condensed matter physics (preferably nanotech).
If I went into theory, I would love to join in make the connections between relativity and quantum.
Of course, like I say every time, I am delusional, but I enjoy putting my dreams out there and am curious to what others dream of.
