Study tips ?

Hi,

After doing a year of 6 AS levels and failing miserably I have decided to opt for subjects which I actually enjoy this time and not be forced upon. I am studying Biology , Chemistry , Maths and Computing this year and need some tips on how to get 4 A's.

In my current College our teachers say that we don't have to buy the AQA Textbooks because they have "to much information" and so they have specifically written us a booklet which they claim is enough to get us good grades. However , I would still like to know some very useful books to get A grades at these subjects and which are easy to understand.

In addition could you please provide me with some study tips. I want to know how much revision I should do per day and what to do until the exams, to hopefully get 4 A's next summer.
