Second degree - NHS funded course

Hi everyone,

I've been considering applying for BSc Diagnostic Radiography/Medical Imaging programme after I graduate from my current degree programme, which is BSc Maths.

The Diagnostic Radiography degree will be NHS funded, so I won't have to pay tuition fees, but I'm a little concerned about maintenance loans etc. I will have used up my 4 years of student finance once I finish my current degree, but I think I remember reading somewhere that students on NHS funded degrees are eligible for an extra few years of loans/grants from student finance to fund their 2nd degree. I was wondering if somebody could clarify whether or not this is correct.

Thank you very much

Basically yes however as an NHS student you couldn't get maintenance grants or means tested loan- you get the minimum reduced rate of around £2k plus NHS bursaries (amount dependent on household income).
Aah, okay. Thanks for your help
