Tier 4 Student Visa - Please Help ASAP

I am from the US, and I will be starting my course in October. My offer became unconditional at the end of August, therefore, I have not been able to apply for a visa any earlier. I have everything required for the visa, but my funds have not been in the bank for 28 consecutive days. If I wait for 28 days to pass to apply for a visa, I won't be able to get it in time, as it will be too close to the start of the school year. I wanted to arrive in the UK around the 20th of September because my school starts in October. If the funds were in my parents' bank, would it still need to be there for 28 consecutive days? I don't know how I'd go about getting my visa now. I have everything I need, except for the 28 day requirement. I am worried that I won't be able to get my visa. Please help!

I'd suggest giving your university a ring - they have people whose job is dedicated to Tier 4 visas, and they know the ins and outs of the system very well.
