Bioscience/Pharmacy/Pharmacology
Just wanting additional information about this potential course I may apply for this year.
1. What are the main differences between pharmacy and pharmacology- in the view of vocation (jobs, pay, career), where would this course most likely lead me to? Which would lead to a career that would finance me better?
Is it likely that I will find employment after my course?
2. Is this course considered competitive?
3. Do pharmacists earn well?
I live in Scotland and only Strathclyde and Robert Gordon facilitate Pharmacy. I have heard that if I pick pharmacology over pharmacy, I cannot be employed as a pharmacist (i.e. giving out prescription drugs). Also any additional information relating to this subject would be appreciated.
