It's going to be a huge whole in the pocket. Internal engine damage. My mechanic couldn't give a full diagnosis. Been referred to a specialist.

You friendly with any BMW specialists in the area?

Might have to go back to a slow car...

Nope, only know of Land Rover specialist.

Might be cheaper to do an engine swap if it needs a rebuild?

Yeah even a swap is expensive. Going to have a word with the trader on Monday. See if he can do anything for me. Not likely but I'll never know unless I ask!
