Which medical schools in the UK are currently using mainly PBL?
Hi,
Im applying for medicine in 2015 and was just wondering which unis use PBL strongly and whether or not its effecxtive because many teachers have told me its not when compared to integrated or lecture based courses.
So any ideas?

There are several which do PBL, Manchester has done it for the longest time,

Whether PBL is effective depends on how well it is delivered and on individual students: it doesn't work for everyone as people have different learning styles, and many school-leavers find it difficult to adjust to because it is so different from school teaching.
