Thanks I hope so as Id like to probably do equal amounts of each subject in the first year and then specialise later in my degree.

I dont really understand the entry requirements it says ABB - BCC on UCAS which is quite a wide offer, does it vary from subject to subject? I want to take Sociology and Psychology - do you reckon this degree would be high/low requirements?

Also does it matter if I choose the 3 year degree instead of the 4 year degree (year out) on my UCAS form - could i switch to the 4 year degree later on if i wanted?

my brother is at Bath doin maths and he started on the 3yr but then after his first year decided he wanted to do the 4 yr masters course instead.
They let him switch with no problems and he got high enough score at the end of his first year to change course.

A psych degree at exeter requires GCSE maths and offers AAB-ABB. A sociology dgree requires BBC-BCC.
So the offer will be imbetween but cant realy say where. Why not just split the different and call it BBB?!

Yeah you are right - just rang them up and they said I would need to get BBB. So not too bad really, but he did say that exeter had loooaads of phone calls about flexible offers so it seems alot of people are interested in them. so grades probably need to be as high as possible if theres limited places.
Thanks for the information about the switch - I think ill do the 3 year one and switch if to 4 year if i want to.

ah crap. good job i found this thread, perhaps i better ring up and enquire as well. im looking to do a flexible combined honour in english lit and philosophy.
i should ring and see what i need to get to get on the course!

although, if your a flexible person, arent you just dividing your time between the classes, meaning im sure they could squeeze me in.

writing that there makes me think ive not totally grasped the entire concept of this flexible thing.

il ring up.
