Any other mature students starting UCLAN this year?

Being classed as a "mature" student is weird, I'm only 23!

I've been to Uni before, when I was 18, stayed in halls etc. had a right laugh.. But this time round I need to be a bit more serious - so staying at home. Not sure how this will impact me? Anyone else in a similar boat sharing my concern?

Being 21 I'm technically a mature student. And I'm kind of doing the opposite to you! Did about a year and a half at uni in my local town, stayed at home, didn't like it at all. This is my time to have fun. :P Maybe you'll find it easier to study and be productive if you're living at home, I don't know. Hope it works out for you anyhow.

I'm 21 and will be starting uni and living in halls as well, I've been before but picked a course I wasn't interested in and dropped it very quickly. After working in dead end jobs and spending a month in Singapore to visit my mum I realised what type of life I can have and decided to go back now I'm motivated :smile:
