Applying to Warwick with a foundation year in physics

I have an A*AAA in maths, further Maths, biology and chemistry respectively and a B in AS physics. I left college in 2013 with the intention of doing maths at uni but since then I have decided to do physics instead. I have my heart set on studying physics at Warwick but they want an A level in physics. Instead I am thinking of doing a foundation year but Warwick does not do one. Is it possible to do a foundation year at say Birmingham and then apply to Warwick for a physics degree?
You would need to contact Warwick to ask whether this would be a viable plan. Wouldn't it be easier to just take physics A2 this year? You can sit the exam as an independent candidate if your old college won't allow you to study it there.
