Getting an A/A* in Edexcel A2 Chemistry

Having got my A level results back this year for Edexcel A Level Chemistry, I didn't achieve the grades I needed for University.

I am going to resit both my A2 Chemistry exams next year and wanted to know what the best way to revise for Edexcel A2 Chemistry is, and what you need to do to achieve those top grades.

Last year I made notes from the George Facer textbook alone and this didn't help me. I have now also brought the official Edexcel Chemistry Text book, so hopefully this will help me understand Chemistry a lot more.

Being a Self study student, I really need an A/A* this year in Chemistry and so any advice or help will be much appreciated.
