und ich bin sicher, dass es das gleiche für dich ist.

Literally. I'm sure Jammy will come along and find some Germantastic way of saying it though :p:
I'd say:

"und ich bin davon sicher, dass es bei dir auch so ist.."

That sounds better, go with that :p:

Good job I'm hopefully dropping Italian. I've not actually learned or spoken much German for a few years haha.
Thanks for that.

May I ask in which relation you want to say it?
Don't want to say the other translations are bad but I have never heard them in spoken german.
Ye that's kinda true. I answered the question trying to "make it fit for all contexts".

But it would help greatly if you could give us some context as to where/why/to whom you want to say it  We could give a better answer that way..

What about...

Ich bin sicher, dass es auch für dich (so) gilt.
Reply 8
another expression i just remembered was
ich bin mir sicher dir geht es genauso
but would also not really fit.
Reply 9
It would meet the english...

fuer etwas/jmdn gelten = to hold true for sthg/someone.

So basically, i'm sure it holds true for you too, which has the same meaning as i'm sure it's the same for you too.

ich bin sicher dass das(oder dies) auch fuer dich gilt.
but wouldn't quite meet the english i think.
another expression i just remembered was
ich bin mir sicher dir geht es genauso
but would also not really fit.
The first one doesn't mean exactly the same thing (more like "I'm sure it applies to you too") although it sounds good :yy::smile: The second one seems good!
