Anyone doing an Access Course looking to get onto a Computer Science degree?

I've just started an Access to Computing course and I'm looking to get onto a Computer Science Degree, is anyone else in the same boat? If so what universities are you looking at going to and which ones do you know that accept Access Courses? What things are you doing to bolster your application to universities? Do you program in your spare time? This can also be a general discussion thread

Hello,

Last year I did an Access to HE course (Business) and am now attending University. However to answer your question, I had a guy in my class (Business!) who applied to do Computer Science at Wolverhampton University and got accepted. His offer was very low (just pass the course) so I cant comment on the quality of the degree, however it may encourage you to know that individuals studying a compleatly different course are able to apply for Computing, you will probably be more desirable to universities with your Access to HE: Computing.

Goodluck!
