Maths homework help QUICK!!!

Hello guys! I'm having problems with these questions and I need replies ASAP please!! :frown::frown:

1) a and b have both been rounded to 2.d.p
a = 4.85 b = 9.25

Work out the smallest possible answers for:

a + b

a/b

Work out the biggest possible answers for:

b - a

a x b

2) Andy Mann is building a garden fence out of planks. The planks are 14 cm wide to the nearest cm. He needs to make 72m of fencing altogether, correct to the nearest metre.

How many planks does he need in order to make sure he has enough to complete the fence?

Help WOULD REALLY BE APPRECIATED <3

If a=4.85 correct to 2 decimal places then a is closer to 4.85 than it is to either 4.84 or 4.86.

Can you write down the upper and lower bounds for a?

Can you do the same for b?

How would you find the lower bound for a+b?

What are your thoughts?
