Student finance wont give me living in London funding, PLEASE HELP!!

Hi,

I'm 20, currently living in private halls in London and am due to enroll in Guildford tomorrow.

Student Finance England told me that due to this I would receive the higher amount for living in London (as it says here: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance/loans-and-grants). Therefore I moved in to my accommodation.

However after not receiving this money I called again and they are now saying it goes on where I am studying and not where I am living (different than what the Direct.Gov site above says).

Therefore am now £3,000 short and cannot afford my rent!! Nevermind travel costs, equipment and food!! :angry:
