can I compete for medicine?

This may be annoying but please take a minute to decide whether i could get into a medicine course at university.
My Gcse results were disappointing.
I got:
English language A
English Literature B
Maths A
Chemistry A
Biology B ( I am retaking this for summer 2015)
Physics B
History A*
French B
Geography B
I am really going to work hard this year for As, my subjects are:
chemistry
biology
maths
history. Aiming for A grades, so am I good enough? :frown:

Take a look at the medicine stalking pages on here - http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/Medicine_applicants_stalking_page_2014_entry to see what others applied with, you might be able to nail your A levels which count too - you're taking the right ones. Its not all about GCSES. I'm doing Chem, Bio, Maths, French. Also take a look at the uni websites and look at their entry requirements online, just google it and it all pings back pretty quickly.. hope this starts to help! Post in med forum too :wink:
