I think you will have a good chance of getting in as long as you get good grades at A-level, experience in the sector and do good at your interview. This is just what I have heard as I want to do medicine too
For my GCSE's I got 2 A* in maths and chem and 9As are my grades good enough to get into a med school?
You are in a great position for many medical schools. For example, Barts, UCL, Manchester and many others want you to have an average of 8 A's at GCSE. If you have this they look no further. They mainly rank applicants on AS/predicted A2 and UKCAT. (Or BMAT)
So my tip is work hard for your A-levels and UKCAT and you should be fine. But obviously apply strategically.

Lots of A*s are not needed by a number of medical schools. Strengthen the rest of your application and choose schools wisely. If you need any advice don't hesitate to get in touch.
