Its a surd fraction and i need to put it in form of 2 to the power of n

So its write Square root 2 over 8 in the form of 2^n ( 2 to the power of n) apparently the answer is -5 over 2 but i have no idea how to get that answer.

Root 2/ 8 = 2^(1/2) / 2^3 = 2^[(1/2 - 3)] = 2 ^ (-5/2)
