How much does your appearance depend on your make-up?

The face by which everybody knows you by, how much is your real face different from your make-up face?

Would you go outside without make-up, are you emotionally dependent on your make-up face?

I never wear make up. I feel more self conscious when I wear it. I don't mind going outside or going on nights out not wearing it. I'll fix my hair but never bother with make up.

I wear makeup most days but you can still tell its me when I don't wear it. I'd go out without makeup if Im only going to the local shops but if I'm going to be out and about then I'd wear it, even if its only just concealer and brow pencil.

I can't go out without my war paint :P

I guess for some people it can drastically make a difference, and others, it doesnt? Some girls wear **** tonnes of makeup, and some wear hardly any or none at all

Some people have a naturally pretty face as well, though a lot of girls dont see that unfortunately :frown:

I don't wear it much at all because I'm allergic. I won't lie and say I look better without it, but I feel I still look alright enough not to care. Because I hardly wear it people always comment when I do.

Dont wear makeup when I'm going out or uni etc, mainly because I cant be bothered lol. Only foundation for special occasions though.

I have rosacea which is where my skin is basically red. If I didn't wear my foundation to give me a normal skin colour, I'd go out look permanently embarrassed or out of breath, so alot.

I don't really wear makeup and when I do, I generally only wear eyeliner and maybe a bit of lipstick but that's quite rare. The only time I've worn foundation was during prom and I don't think I look that different with foundation and eyeliner. Eyeliner does make me look a lot better as it enhances my eyes but I don't look like a different person, I still look like me. The only thing is that when I wear makeup I take off my glasses so that might make a difference as to how look?

It depends on how well you can apply it and how pretty or ugly you're barefaced.

I wear minimal makeup. I have a gorgeous face without makeup. Girls who cake themselves in it make me cringe so hard.

I went out without make up today. I'm really not bothered. Though if I was going out somewhere nice I'd probably make an effort. The amount of effort is proportional to how important it is for me to look good. I'm not going to put make up on to buy a lettuce from Spar.

concealer
Base foundation before Estee Lauder liquid foundation
Eyebrow pencil
Liquid eyeliner
^those are my everyday basics and takes me less than 3 mins in the morning

The only make up I wear is mascara and sometimes a little lip gloss. I go out without make up all the time since all I wear is normally just mascara :smile:

I never wear makeup unless I'm going to a party or I need to conceal a bad acne breakout. This is because it can't be bothered to wear it, I don't know how and it's a waste of time.
