personal statement

i need help on writing my personal statement for my college application any examples? i have no idea how to start it. HELP !!

I just said what I do outside school and stuff - cadets, golf - work experience. That sort of stuff

Usually they tell you - think mine was about 100 words

I didn't even realize we needed to write one until recently :colondollar:

I think it's like:

- Where you study & your options
- Opportunities (e.g work experience) and what they taught you
- How do you handle organisation
- Your strengths
- What school so far has taught you
- Your plans for the future?

Not entirely sure, this is just from what I've seen.

basically as long as your grammar is correct and you write properly then you will be fine because they look at grades and references from your teachers. my uncle who works at a uni said that personal statements do not really matter
