thanks alot

Does that mean you will have to catch up on the single honours modules?

Does anyone know the general time limit for this? It is the university of Leeds.

thanks
Which two languages have you applied for?

Italian post Alevel and beginners Japanese.
I'm thinking of swiching to single hons Italian maybe even before teaching starts so i can register for my electives if they let me. ekk *panicking*
To be honest, I really don't think this would be a problem.
It's not like you have to "persuade another department to accept you" - 'cause you're simply dropping a whole subject and "not replacing it with anything else". Shouldn't be a problem IMO.

Hey Connery. I'm at Uni of Leeds and I do German and Italian, but I just dropped Italian to do SH German in my second year.

It shouldn't be a problem. You'll just have to go see the Joint Honours for Modern Languages people, who are the nicest people ever, and apply for a change of programme.
It then has to be approved by the head of department (Italian in your case) and if it's ok then you'll be moved.
