just a thought

Majority Bs with a few As.

Inb4 12A*s
Anywhere from half Bs half Cs, to half Cs half Ds.
One or two A*/A/Bs, lots of Cs, and failing in two or less subjects imo.

Having more than 2 B grades or below.
Mostly A's and B's with maybe an A* or 2
Maybe an A, a couple Bs, mostly Cs and a D.
Average halfway between B and C then I guess
Mostly Bs with some As
1 A*, 4 As and 5 Bs.

Wow...dude...maybe on TSR.
Probably about what I got: one or two As, several Bs, mostly Cs and one D.

Mediocore = average

In my opinion that is just average, not bad but not great.

Average for some perhaps, but it really depends on where you went to school.

Probably where you come from tbh because imo a set of grades like that make a student look pretty good. No Cs at all?

Medium sized comprehensive state school in North England with like ~65% A*-C at GCSE.

If you take away the outliers i.e. Chavs that don't try and get all D's/people who get 7+ A*s then A's and B's with an A* is fairly mediocre in my opinion

"of only ordinary or moderate quality; neither good nor bad"

That's the definition for mediocre, not average

Interesting. Doesn't mean I agree, however.
