How to do well in OCR Chemistry?

I am now doing A2 chemistry. I 'achieved' an E overall in my Chemistry AS through two Es in the exams and a C in the coursework.
I am retaking all of AS at the same time as I am doing my A2s.
I was just wondering if anyone had any really good advice as to how I could ace chemistry this year and achieve at least a C grade.
Anything you have to suggest will be truly appreciated.
