Referee problem!

Hello!
I'm applying to do Adult Nursing this year and i'm not sure who to chose as a referee. I started working in the NHS in July so was thinking of asking my ward Sister but she has only known me for a few months, my other option is the health care agency I have worked for for over a year. I did apply for Children's Nursing last year and got rejected from Staffs for a poor reference and I got one of the people from my agency to do it. So, basically, I am going to ask my Sister if she'll do it but if she says no, I don't know what to do! Anyone got any advise for me? I'm a mature student (only 25), have a previous degree and have been working for the past 2.5 years.
So yeah, help?! :confused:

Well just to see what your Sister says if she says no then figure out a plan from there but I doubt she will say no
