I moved to a city a few months back to live with my boyfriend, as he has a good job here. I also thought that there would be better job prospects for me here. Boyfriend is busy a lot, and I don't know many people in the city, so I'm starting to get really lonely.

I have a job, but its only 2 days a week, and the people who are on my shift are all much older than me, so I don't feel like they could be friends. My old friends don't reply to texts very often, as we've likely drifted apart over the years.

I want to find someone to chat to occasionally, like in the evenings etc. Where can I find such people? Email, text, IM, anything works. It would be nice to have people to talk to again :smile:

start playing some mmos, like wow, terra, lineage2 you'll kill hours of time and chat with people online. Maybe even join some clan.

Other than that, find some activities to sign up for. Like join some language learning community in town, or some evening classes for say karate or kitting whatever you're into.

You can use random chat pages like chat roulette or omegle, but there you'll have to skim through all the dick picks and horny arab men till you find someone to chat with.

I am I exactly the same situation as you are, I am quite lonely as my boyfriend is a farmer so I barely see him anymore. As I am always with him my friends don't speak t me much so I am quite lonely too. I am quite new to this- so try in boxing me :smile:
