Mercedes have decided Hamilton will win the championship

They were angry when Rosberg made contact with Hamilton and made them lose the race. It's clear that in the previous race Rosberg staged two errors to let Hamilton by, hoping this would be enough to be square and make peace with the team. But it wasn't enough and Mercedes have decided Hamilton will win the championship, they will stage more failures if necessary. This is probably right because Rosberg is dishonest and would crash into Hamilton again to win. Rosberg has zero chance of winning the championship because Mercedes would stop his car, so the only rival is Ricciardo.

Interesting theory sherlock.

Do you think a company would risk losing both titles to try this early?

If they seriously wanted to do this they'd wait until abu dhabi anyway so add to mitigate the risk from Ricciardo.

It's the opposite, maybe you didn't get the point. They stopped Rosberg exactly because they don't want to lose the championship. Ricciardo can win the championship only if the two Mercedes mess up with each other.

are you the poster who said Lewis and Rosberg were friends and this is not a war like Senna v Prost, and yesterday they said they're enemies?
Do you think Rosberg is the only driver who made that driving error twice? And why didn't he make the turn
LOL Mercedes says there was a 'foreign contamination' on Rosberg's steering column:biggrin:
And exactly at the start, this mysterious element wasn't there before
Next it will be aliens pointing a beam to shut down his computer
The autism is strong with this one.
It's a shame people are this stupid.

No. I'm the poster who is thoroughly boring with all the conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy? Then what about Piquet's intentional error to bring the safety car and make Alonso win at Renault? This is F1,it's a dishonest and selfish business. FIA was able to disqualify Renault's directors only because Piquet wanted vengeance after they replaced him with Grosjean,so he told the FIA. If he didn't,you would claim it was a conspiracy theory to suspect he crashed exactly when it suited Alonso to win the race.
Teutonic where are you? Once I make a thread you should agree on you disappear? It's difficult in a British forum to say certain things. I'm a Lewis fan as well but I also want the best to win with a fair competition.

You think that Alonso won the race because of what Piquet did? Did you watch that race? The crash may have been planned, but the rest of what went on couldn't have been.

Mercedes have some reliability issues. First they mostly affected Hamilton, now they're mostly affecting Rosberg. Drivers under pressure make mistakes.
Even if they are, Mercedes know Hamilton is better for advertising. They aren't employees of the FIA, but Mercedes, their responsibility is to what's best for the company.

Do you honestly think Alonso could have won without the safety car coming out that exact lap? It's complete dishonesty by them, this proves F1 has real dirty tricks not 'conspiracy theories'.
Electronic failures are not like engine, they can be staged. Mercedes quotes after Spa were like 'there will be consequences', after the Italian GP Lauda said 'finally Rosberg went off and Lewis won'. Drivers never make the same error twice in the same turn in the same race. It's clear what's going on to anyone who wants to see it. At least he would have made the turn,no other driver has made the same error and one of the best makes it twice in the same point?
Mansell says Mercedes decides what driver will win the championship. He doesn't name him but we can guess

My point is precisely that you could not have planned the exact lap that would mean Alonso won, because of all the other things that then went on that contributed to the victory (Massa driving off with his fuel hose, for example; how did Piquet make that happen?). And a small group of people's dishonesty does not tar an entire grid of teams. There are 'bad' people in every industry.

Please look up the definition of proof, and the definition of theory.
