I've already looked through that actually. The reason I'm asking is because I was told that there are permutations and combinations in the Statistics modules but I couldn't find anything so I just wanted to confirm if it was there? Or if it was recently removed?
I'm not familiar with their S3 and 4 units. But in general unless it's assumed knowledge from gcse study if it's not in the specification it's not in the examination.
Basic combinations and permutations is touched on in S1. You need to understand and be able to use nCr both for the binomial expansion in core maths and binomial probability in S1.
