I'm too phobic to even do that. I won't even sing around my partner at home! I suppose I might if I'd had enough to drink, but I don't like drinking that much, and I'm not so desperate to do it I'll get drunk for it.

Dutch courage does help! Although if we're being all pro about it I find anything but water dehydrates your voice too much for full effect…

My dad was similar to you, he was tone-deaf for years and grew scared to sing because the feedback was terrible which knocked his confidence…but then he met his current partner, who's a Gregorian chanter, and she has put the Pavarotti back in him slowly but surely :tongue:
