Exactly, but it can be all fun in other ways, like spotting a funny outfit on the street Lol

Reasons I have heard:

* Flirting/dating
* Nudes
* Laziness (mass message all of your friends a selfie)
* Cos girls use it (70% of users of Snapchat are female according to this: http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2013/11/20/snapchat-ceo-says-70-of-users-are-women/)
* Cos everyone else is using it and everyone wants to be hanging with the 'in-crowd' (sheep)
