Log question

Could anybody help me with this?

Solve Log2(x+1)Log2(x)=Log2(7) Log2 (x+1) - Log2(x) = Log2(7)

All those are to the base 2.. couldn't figure how how to make them small.

Do you know how to combine the two logs on the left hand side?

Use underscore to write logs in LaTeX e.g. \log_2 (x+1)

What rules do you know for logs? Try to combine the 2 logs on the LHS.
